Grateful to Be a Trusted Voice on the Marital Home in Divorce

February 18, 20263 min read

One of the greatest honors of my work is being actively sought out to speak about the marital home — often a couple’s largest asset, and almost always the most emotionally charged one.

The house is never just a house. It holds memories, routines, holidays, safety, and identity. At the same time, it represents equity, debt, long-term security, and future opportunity. When those two realities collide during divorce, people deserve clarity, not confusion — and guidance that balances both heart and numbers.

Over the years, I’ve been invited onto podcasts by attorneys, mediators, therapists, and divorce educators who see firsthand how misunderstood mortgage and real estate decisions can derail otherwise thoughtful settlement agreements. I don’t take that trust lightly.

Below are some of the conversations I’ve been grateful to be part of — each one focused on helping individuals and families make informed, grounded decisions about the marital home.

Looking Ahead to 2026

I’m also excited to share that I’ve recently been back with some of my favorite podcast hosts, recording updated conversations and new guidance for 2026. As lending guidelines evolve and divorce conversations continue to move toward more thoughtful, family-focused solutions, these upcoming episodes reflect what I’m seeing right now in real time.

Be on the lookout for new episodes dropping soon — I’m grateful to continue these conversations and to keep providing clear, current information to those navigating decisions around the marital home.

Why This Work Matters to Me

Every invitation to speak represents trust — trust that I will honor both the emotional weight and the financial consequences of these decisions. My goal is never to tell someone what they should do, but to ensure they understand what they can do, and what each option truly means for their future.

Clarity creates calm. Informed choices create better outcomes — for individuals, for families, and especially for children. I’m deeply grateful to be part of these conversations and to continue serving as a steady, neutral guide during one of life’s most significant transitions.
